QL+ Student Association

Cal Poly is fortunate to act as a satellite for the QL+ National Program, which began in order to find unique solutions for health problems faced by veterans. The people we work with on design teams are called Challengers. Since our foundation, we have expanded our scope of Challengers to include a range of community members seeking assistive technology or medical devices.

As a multidisciplinary club, we in QL+ use the donated lab space to encourage all students to work in teams and learn more about the engineering design process. Students have opportunities through our club to join a quarterly design project, attend workshops, or apply for a formal design team; each offering a new way to learn outside the classroom.

We embrace Cal Poly’s “Learn by Doing” motto by providing club members with hands on project experience within the biomedical field. Check out some of our past projects from design teams to find out!
